California Family Code 3900. "Subject to this division, the father and mother of a minor child have an equal responsibility to support their child in the manner suitable to the child's circumstances."
This is what the law dictates. Why is it then that the court system is so bias against fathers? The way this law is interpreted needs to be revised! Responsible fathers do not enjoy equal rights and responsibilitites.
Fathers Clearly have the disadvantage. Changes in the ways the family court and the social services interpret these laws has to happen at once

8/23/2009 - Looking to Create a Board of Directors
California Fathers Rights Advocacy group is looking to create a Board of Directors. We would like to establish this as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with a very clear mission to support and educate men on how to be better fathers who take responsibility for their children and mostly to fight for equal rights in the State of California. Clearly the mission may need to be redefined.
